- Markus Augeneder started on 1st of June 2019 as CEO VanRiet and CEO MHS International.
- Former CEO Central Europe of TGW Logistics Group, succeeds Rik van den Boog as CEO.
HOUTEN, Netherlands – June 13, 2019 – VanRiet Material Handling Systems (“VanRiet”), a leading global provider of integration systems, equipment, and after-market services solutions, announced the appointment of a new CEO Markus Augeneder who started as Chief Executive Officer effective June 1st, 2019. He will be the successor of Rik van den Boog who has stepped down from his role as CEO of the Company earlier this year.
Since 2018, VanRiet is part of MHS, an American provider of advanced parcel sortation systems, engineering, and equipment. In addition to his position as CEO, Mr. Augeneder also takes on the role of CEO of MHS international. MHS International consists, besides VanRiet, of MHS Europe and OCM.

Mr. Augeneder will be based in the headquarters of VanRiet in Houten, The Netherlands. He will be responsible for VanRiet and overseeing MHS’s overall strategic direction and growth outside of North America.
